Description | | R.U.L.E.R. is an acronym for the five skills of emotional intelligence. Recognizing emotions, Understanding where the emotions are coming from, Labeling emotions with precise vocabulary, Expressing emotions in a safe and healthy way, and Regulating emotions with helpful strategies. During this workshop, we’ll use the book Permission to Feel by Marc Brackett to build our own emotional intelligence as adults and educators so that we can bring the practice of R.U.L.E.R. to our work with students. |
