Audience:
This refresher is intended for anyone who has attended Intensive Teaching of
Verbal Behavior 3 Day training and is wanting to review important concepts
from the training, as well as collaborate with other professionals in the
Central Region.
Description:
Participants will receive instruction and hands-on practice on key
instructional protocols that are designed to address the core deficits of
autism including the development of verbal skills, flexible responding and
appropriate social interactions. Training will also include information on
specific systems necessary for effective school-based programming for ABLLS-R
, including how to schedule instruction, organization of materials, ongoing
training of staff and data-based decision making. (This training has been adapted from the
original training created by Mike Miklos and Amiris Dipuglia from PaTTAN, Stacey
Martin, and Deb Rauner and Teresa Schultz.)
