DescriptionA Great Minds presenter will be leading a virtual workshop for a day of preparation for new users (refresher for current users) to successfully implement Eureka Math in kindergarten-5th grade.
There will be opportunities for interactive exploration of a module’s curriculum structure, progression, and coherence. Time to analyze the intentional design of individual lesson components will be given.  This session is a balance of study, experiential learning, analysis and practice that sets participants up to successfully launch the Eureka Math curriculum in the classroom.  Participants will experience the tools from a student’s point of view, spend time analyzing the design of the tool, practice using the tool, and experiment by crafting problem sequences.

Session Objectives:
Participants will understand
• how to successfully implement Eureka Math,
• the usefulness of the Module Overview,
• the importance and instructional implications of K–5 coherence,
• how to analyze the lesson structure of Eureka Math, and
• how to prepare and teach Eureka Math with fidelity.
