Description | | **This course is done independently and we will not meet at any time. The dates and times below are to demonstrate the amount of time it may take to complete the course.**
Supporting the language acquisition of English learners in content areas can be a challenging task. During these asynchronous modules participants will learn about scaffolding for English learners within the content area classes by incorporating intentional classroom talk, collaborative group work, and speech to print practices that can support language acquisition for English learners as well as academic language learners.
