| Description | | Specific teaching strategies have positive effects on student learning. Decades of research indicates which strategies make the biggest difference. Each of these strategies can be used by any teacher at any time.
Based on the research of Marzano, Pickering and Pollock (from McREL), participants will use the 9 categories of instructional strategies to:
- enhance instruction
- design lessons
- incorporate the use of technology
This is a repeat of the workshop that was offered during the Summer of 2008 at ESU 10. |

| Comments | | Title II-A Consortium schools receive paid registration and material fees. Title II-A Consortium schools also receive $150 per day stipend.
This workshop is approved for three hours of college credit through Wayne State College. The cost will be $550.50 for three credit hours, plus an additional matriculation fee of $30 for those who have never taken a course from Wayne State College. Registration and payment will take place on the first day of the workshop.
Registration deadline is one week prior to workshop unless otherwise noted. Cancellations not received 2 business days in advance and no-shows will be billed. |
