DescriptionSpecific teaching strategies have positive effects on student learning. Decades of research indicates which strategies make the biggest difference. Each of these strategies can be used by any teacher at any time.

Based on the research of Marzano, Pickering and Pollock (from McREL), participants will use the 9 categories of instructional strategies to:
- enhance instruction
- design lessons
- incorporate the use of technology

This is a repeat of the workshop that was offered during the Summer of 2008 at ESU 10.
