DescriptionUnderstanding and Managing Challenging Behaviors of Students with ASDs:  through the Practical Application of Functionsl Behavioral Assessment and Positive Behavior Supports. Presented by Kaye Otten, Ph.D., Behavioral & Autism Specialist from Lee's Summit School District.

This full-day inservice will provide an overview of the interventions to help you make informed decisions and implement goals for programming.  At the end of this session, participants will have a more comprehensive understanding of positive behavioral support/functional behavioral assessment concepts and processes and how to embed them into public school practices to more effectively manage challenging behavior.
