DescriptionDig into Amplify CKLA writing instruction and student work in Grades K–2 led by an Amplify CKLA trainer! Identify writing opportunities in the Amplify CKLA Skills and Knowledge Strands through analysis of a unit and daily lessons and analyze student writing using a program-aligned rubric. Participants will leave with an annotated unit highlighting the writing opportunities and student grouping suggestions.
Participants need to bring their most recent set of scored Amplify CKLA Benchmark, unit, or Formative Assessments. The exact assessment will vary based on the session delivery date.
Individuals participating in the CKLA sessions will be asked to provide data of their implementation of their learning as per the grant used to host the sessions.

Districts will receive $75 sub reimbursement per participant (three hours active participation required for reimbursement).

CKLA Zoom sessions are maxed out at 30 seats. Only districts who have already purchased CKLA will be allowed to attend. Sessions will not be recorded, and each seat is intended for only one participant.

CKLA sessions are ZOOM only; space will not be reserved at ESU 10 (unless participants attended the morning ELA Instructional Materials Cadre). Preference will be given to
ESU 10 schools.
The Zoom link will be sent out prior to the training to the participant’s email address. Please check your email prior to the training.
To ensure materials are received prior to the training, it is recommended interested individuals register at least two weeks prior.
Contact on the day of training in case of emergency: Sarah Essay, (402) 802-6512.

Cancellations not received two business days prior to the day of training will be billed $100 to their district.
