Problem behaviors can be difficult for a school team to manage. This series will help school staff understand and implement steps for completing a comprehensive

Objectives: Participants will be able to:
*Identify the four basic phases of behavioral intervention
*Determine the WHY of the behavior using the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) process.
*Understand the importance of an individualized function-based Behavior Intervention Plan
(BIP) including:
*Prioritizing and defining target behaviors
*Selecting effective behavior change procedures: including replacement behaviors, antecedent interventions and reinforcement based on the function of the behavior
*Teaming and staff training strategies to promote fidelity
*Using meaningful data and progress monitoring tools to evaluate and revise the plan as needed.
