Audience: Special education teachers, speech language pathologists, related service providers, caregivers, paraprofessionals, school psychologists, and administrators
Description: This webinar will provide an overview of sensory systems and how differences manifest. Participants will learn common terminology, which will allow them to understand and discuss sensory differences when working with students, teachers, administrators and parents. Sensory supports and strategies within the school and home environments will also be highlighted.
Participants will:
• become familiar with the various sensory systems
• be able to understand types of sensory differences
• identify strategies that help with various sensory differences
