This training is designed to create some shared understanding about including students with Autism in specialist classrooms.
Participants will learn the following:
• Be able to identify key deficit areas for students with Autism
• Understand how Autism can effect student learning and behavior in specials classes
• Identify strategies to support students with Autism in various specials classes
• Understand the importance of reinforcement and motivation in students with ASD.
