Description/ Learner Outcomes:
* Participants will learn important behavioral teaching strategies including what is verbal
behavior, discrete trial training, reinforcement, pairing, prompting and shaping
* Participants will learn the verbal operants
* Participants will learn how to use errorless teaching techniques and error correction to
help improve skill acquisition
* Participants will receive hands on instruction and practice in errorless teaching and error
correction using the card sort system
This training is intended to be an introduction to teams working with a lead
teacher or speech language pathologist trained in Verbal Behavior intervention methods.
