Description | | If you’re ready to take a deeper dive into the science standards join us for a day dedicated to "Science Classroom Transitions and Practices."
Topic(s) Include:
-Integration of the Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs) and Crosscutting Concepts (CCCs)
-Using phenomena in 3 dimensional lessons and units
-Standards Unpacking
-Collaboration across district lines to begin the process of creating units and storylines
Participants will be part of the Science Teacher Network working collaboratively to support each other, share lesson ideas and resources, and learn from colleagues. Schoology will be utilized to share resources and ask questions throughout the year.
Join us for a day of collaboration and investigation of the new science standards!
Classroom Transitions and Practices is for educators who have an understanding of the structure and organization of the 3dimensional standards and expected shifts in teaching and learning.
