Description | | Training Series Outcomes:
- To support district and school leadership in the initial work of creating Systems of Reflective Practice within their buildings.
- To provide guidance, strategies, and instructional leadership to the system’s instructional leaders in order to build their teacher’s capacity for success.
- To build the capacity of all teachers through the development of reflective practice.
Day 1: June
8, 2016
- Introduce the “System of Reflective Practice”
- Discuss the connection between reflection and effective practice
- Overview of 7 fundamentals
Participants have the option to attend Day 1 only or to attend all 3 Days.

Day 2: October
28, 2016
- Deeply investigate Fundamentals I-IV
- Discuss two key tools: The Reflective Cycle and the Continuum of Self-Reflection
- Examine the leadership perspective to drive this work forward
- Participants establish clear goals and action plans
Day 3: February
28, 2017
- Deeply investigate Fundamentals V-VII
- Delve into the language of transformational feedback
- Strengthen our instructional coaching practices
- Build a network of supportive, interdependent practitioners
- Uncover and collaboratively address lingering problems of practice
