| Description | | Terri Schuster, NDE ESL Director, will present information on the new 2014-15 ELL Standards and the new English Language Proficiency Assessments (ELPA21) to replace the ELDA. The training session Classroom Instruction that Works with English Language Learners will include a new module “Academic Language Framework”. This framework will be useful to classroom and ESL teachers in planning lessons with both content area and language objectives and in aligning the new ELL Standards with content area standards.
