Windows PowerShell is a command-line shell and scripting language that is specifically designed for system administration in a Windows environment. PowerShell lets you administer and automate administration of Windows operating systems (servers and workstations) as well as applications that run on Windows. PowerShell administrative commands are built into current and previous versions of Windows operating systems as well as Microsoft applications like Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, and System Center.
This two-day workshop will introduce the basics of using PowerShell commands to manage your Windows environment. PowerShell has extensive help topics built into the product that allow you to self-discover how to use the tool. This workshop will focus on teaching you how to teach yourself the basics of using PowerShell.
