DescriptionThe Digital Story Telling Academy involves a series of four workshops in which participants will learn the art of telling stories—the digital way. Using the backdrop of the Archway on the first day, an expert story teller will creatively involve educators in telling stories that engage the audience using pictures, audio and video. During the next three non-consecutive days at ESU 10, participants will learn tips for taking digital pictures and video and then learn how to effectively use them in slideshows and videos using free Macintosh (OS X) and Windows (XP) applications. Educators from ESU 10 districts in the Digital Story Telling Grant Consortium may qualify for stipends. Visit http://teachers.esu10.org/storytelling/0506Schools for more information about the workshop.
