DescriptionBlock Party: A Fun Way to Learn

This engaging workshop focuses on the benefits of block play and how to support children during this type of play. 

Participants will:
* Rotate through different stations with different types of blocks
* Learn how block play can boost a child’s school readiness
        * Math: Measuring, counting and estimating
        * Science: Experiment and hypothesizing
        * Engineering: Problem-solving and crating
        * Language and literacy: Vocabulary and pre-reading skills
        * Social Skills: Cooperation and sharing
        * Physical skills: Fine and gross motor skills
        * Creativity: Imaginative thinking
        * Problem-solving: Finding solutions
