Anxiety Solutions: Practical Strategies for Resilience, Confidence and Coping Skills in Students
Anxiety has reached epidemic proportions and is the most common mental health concern among students. Despite good intentions, many commonly used school-based strategies and accommodations like breathing exercises or taking breaks can inadvertently reinforce avoidance and sustain the anxiety cycle.

This advanced, interactive workshop will equip you with high-impact, evidence-based strategies to reduce emotion-driven avoidance, build emotional endurance, and foster student autonomy and resilience. While anxiety is the primary focus, all strategies are broadly applicable to managing any intense emotions.

Through case-based scenarios, participants will learn to:

Identify and shift ineffective, avoidance-based accommodations that maintain anxiety
Support real-time emotion regulation and courageous engagement
Create individualized, strengths-based intervention plans
Leave with practical tools and the confidence to support lasting emotional growth in students.
