DescriptionIndividuals with ASD often have sensory differences that interfere with the occupations of childhood.  It is critical that we support their neurological differences through a sensory friendly approach. 
 
    *This training will offer information on sensory integration and processing.  
    *Participants will be exposed to problem solving tools to ease intervention planning.
    *Participants will develop an understanding of sensory informed interventions.
    *Participants will develop an understanding of the evidence-based practices to guide interventions.
    *Participants will be exposed to data tracking tools for intervention effectiveness 

Utilizing the individualized supports covered in this training could be a NeMTSS Tier 1, 2 or 3 intervention.  For more information on NeMTSS visit https://nemtss.unl.edu/about/
