DescriptionCharacterStrong national trainers will be on-site to provide an interactive training that focuses on a research-backed framework for classrooms and campuses to equip staff with easy-to-use tools to support student success.  This training will provide educators low-burden, high-impact strategies to increase well-being, belonging, and engagement in all areas of a classroom and campus community by introducing a consistent structure for learning that promotes powerful relationship building while also helping students find value in their learning.

OBJECTIVES
     *Collaborate with other educators to identify, discuss, and solve real problems happening in your learning environment. 
     *Refine classroom structures that provide students with intellectual safety and sense of belonging.
     *Practice relationship-building strategies that establish, maintain, and restore empathy, trust, and compassion among a community of learners.
     *Cultivate practical and powerful skills to respond to student behaviors.
     *Design lessons that connect students to a great purpose for learning to increase engagement.
     *Refine procedures for reflection and feedback that increase academic performance.      

Districts are encouraged to participate as a team with a minimum of the following:
*School District Administration (Superintendent and/or Principal)
*School Counselor(s)
*School Psychologist

Additional team members may include:
*Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) or social Worker (if utilizing)
*Elementary teacher(s)
*Secondary teacher(s)
*Other district personnel involved with CIP/MTSS/ILCD
