PowerSchool Advanced Customization Academy (PACA)
Are you an experienced PowerSchool looking to take your skills to the next level? Join us for our PowerSchool Advanced Customization Academy! This academy is designed for PowerSchool Users who want to learn advanced techniques for customizing PowerSchool to suit your districts’ needs. We will guide you through hands-on exercises and provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to take your PowerSchool customization skills to new heights. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your skills and take your career to the next level!
The PowerSchool Advanced Customization Academy is three, two-day workshops spread across the summer hosted by ESU 10 and Adrian Carlson. PowerSchool Advanced Customization Academy offers a smaller, more focused, and intense training experience than your typical PSUG event. Each day, Adrian Carlson will start with several lessons on advanced customization techniques followed by hands-on workshops. This approach allows you to immediately put into practice what you just learned, ensuring that you leave the workshop with a deep understanding of the topics covered.
You should have:
Exposure and base knowledge of PowerSchool Customizations concepts such as:
PSHTML
Insertion Points
Custom fields
Custom pages
Exposure and base knowledge of the following coding languages:
HTML
CSS
JavaScript
jQuery
SQL
Know how to:
Access Custom Page Management (CPM) or BlueSteel (prefered) in PowerSchool
Know how to install PowerSchool Plugins
