| Description | | Our combined ESU 10/ESU 11 librarian day will begin at Kearney Public Library (2020 1st Ave, Kearney, NE 68847) which opens at 9 a.m. We will start our first session around 9:15 in the South/North Platte Rooms (upstairs). We will learn about Golden Sower books, tour KPL, learn about book censorship, hear NSLA updates, and combine our lunch with an open discussion with topics posed by attendees. Lunch will be catered from Quiznos; attendees who order lunch will have the cost of their lunch billed to their schools after the event.
In the afternoon, we will tour the Northeast Elementary School library (910 E 34th St, Kearney, NE 68847), and we will end the day by touring the Kearney High School library (2702 W 11th St, Kearney, NE 68845). For both locations, please check in at the front office when you arrive. |
