Description | | Get ready to equip high school junior and senior students in taking the next steps after high school! This Nebraska Extension curriculum is an engaging, nine week, hands-on course that addresses traditional topics of mapping career paths in a fresh, fun, practical way. Each person has a different path that has to be managed individually to fit his or her unique situation. This program helps equip students to take initiative in building the path to help them succeed. Students will exit the course knowing more about themselves, how to be a successful student and employee, how to thrive in new environments with peers, colleagues, professors and what they can do now to get started after high school. After attending this training, school counselors and teachers will gain access to the entire curriculum and be trained in implementation.
$195 to be paid with ESU 9, 10, or 11 Perkins funds for qualifying CTE teachers/counselors. If you are not a member of the ESU 9, 10, or 11 CTE/Perkins Consortia, your district will be billed $195 in addition to the $15 workshop fee. Important Note: Any participant who registers and doesn’t show up will be charged $210. There will be no exceptions for illnesses, etc.
