DescriptionThe Academic Quiz Bowl is a double elimination tournament between teams of 6 members and as many alternates as the school wishes.  Each round consists of 12 questions.  Each district in the ESU 10, eleven county areas is invited to participate in the event.  The district is allowed one team.

The winning team will qualify for the State Academic Quiz Bowl competition which will be hosted by Educational Service Unit 9 in Hastings, Nebraska on April 29 , 2020. The location of the state competition will be held at the Northshore Assembly of God in Hastings.   Additional information will be given to the district sponsor on March 17 , 2020.

The winning team will qualify for the State Academic Quiz Bowl competition which will be held at the Phelps County Museum in Holdrege, Nebraska on April 11, 2018.  Additional information will be given to the district sponsor on March 6, 2018.

Lunch:  We will be using the commons area for lunch at a cost of $8.85  per person.  ESU10 will bill your district for the lunch tickets used.



Registration Deadline:  February 12, 2018
You must have your students registered on the ESU10 Student Activities page by February 12,  2018 or your team will not be allowed to compete the day of the competition. NO EXCEPTIONS!
**A follow-up email will be sent at a later date which will provide district sponsors with  instructions for registering students on the ESU 10 Student Activities Website.

Registration is from 8:30-9:00 a.m.; competition begins at 9:00 a.m.
