Description | | This workshop will provide analysis of and strategies for the first area of reading instruction: Phonemic Awareness. Phonemic Awareness is the ability to hear and manipulate sounds in words. The inability to segment words and syllables into constituent sound units is the best predictor of reading difficulty in kindergarten and first grade. |
