Description | | Registration 8:00 am, Workshop 8:30 am-3:30 pm
This workshop will be an opportunity for participants to:
*Observe and evaluate/rate behaviors using autism-specific criteria
*Defend the ratings by using examples from the video
*Consider how to report behaviors observed as a member of the multidisciplinary team
*Synthesize information from the observation with other sources of information in
considering a verification of autism
Participants should be prepared to watch videos of individuals with autism, complete observational ratings and compare their results with others in the training as well as ratings by those who have had more extensive training. Training videos will focus on individuals who have speech. |
