Description | | Description:
Participants will learn the important components of structured teaching as
well as the following: structuring the environment, individual daily
schedules, work systems, work tasks and the use of visuals for communication,
social and sensory needs. This training
series allows the participants to attend in a virtual learning environment.
Due to the alternate
learning environment we find ourselves in and ASD Project funds being
reallocated, we are able to offer a one-time opportunity of a $150 stipend.
This is only available upon full completion of the six session course. Limit of 20 people.
Participants will receive links to files that include examples of
tasks, schedules, and visuals. |

Audience | | Audience: Classroom teachers, speech/language pathologists, resource specialists, parents, community providers, related service providers, and paraeducators who work with students (Pre-K – 21) with classic to moderate autism & other developmental disabilities. |
