Using Principles of Reinforcement to Teach Critical Behavior Change
Differential reinforcement is a powerful tool we can use to encourage behavior change. In this
session, participants will:
• Review the principles of reinforcement as they apply to skill acquisition and behavior reduction
• Understand the role motivation plays in skill acquisition
• Explore the concept of synthesized reinforcement and plan for application within a current student's program.
