Description | | Students learn best when they are in emotionally supportive classrooms. Many of the students we work with are experiencing stress, trauma, or lack a sense of belonging. This course will provide teachers with practices, resources and support to help cultivate a learning environment where students can thrive.
The foundation of this workshop is an 8 week online course through Mindful Schools. By completing this course, participants will receive access to the Mindful Schools K-12 curriculum. The online course starts on May 20 and goes through July 14. There will also be 4 in-person/Zoom half day sessions through ESU 10 to expand on the content from the online course and to collaborate with colleagues from across the region.
ESU 10 will register all participants for the Mindful Schools and cost of the workshop includes the online course. Please do NOT register on the Mindful Schools Site. |
