DescriptionResearch Papers and Reports will focus on the necessary tools students need to navigate the research process. This day will provide teachers the necessary strategies to teach students how to tackle a research project, building on what they have learned from Informative/Explanatory Writing.  From how to choose an appropriate topic and choosing reliable resources, to completing notecards that lead to a solid plan and draft, eventually ending in a completed project, both teachers and students will learn a valuable routine when tackling what has seemed like a formidable task in the past.  After seeing and practicing the entire process, teachers will be able to adapt the strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
