DescriptionWhen EL teachers and content area teachers work together to support English learners, everyone wins. The big benefits of teacher collaboration are well documented. Where teachers and schools struggle still is determining the best way to do so, especially when working with our ELs. During this course we’ll read the book Collaborating for English Learners: A Foundational Guide to Integrated practices by Andrea Hoginsfeld and Maria G. Dove. The book will guide educators as they begin to set up a collaborative or co-teaching environments for supporting English learners. During in person discussions, we’ll brainstorm how to implement collaborative and co-teaching practices.
