*review the writing process
*learn strategies to teach the students the art of argumentation,  which includes understanding academic standards language and terminology.
*learn methods to teach students how to analyze and write an argumentative essay.

Registration fee is covered for TitleIIA Consortium Member Schools. This workshop is eligible for contracted services pay for teachers at the rate of $125 per day. Each teacher may earn up to a maximum of $500 contracted services pay per summer.
