Description | | A day to hit refresh. To express yourself in the medium of sketchbook journaling. To visit new ways to use technology, how to create online portfolios. How to connect the standards to almost anything you are doing.
Morning Session: Beth Jasnoch will sketch, create and energize through sketchbook journaling. Learn Beth Jasnoch’s approach to sketchbook journaling and find ways to get your students fired up about sketchbook. This approach could also be used as an assignment in school as a mixed media style project.
Lunch: As always, rich conversation with your colleagues to talk shop, celebrate program success, problem solve and share struggles.
Afternoon Session:Lynette Fast, a retired Lincoln Public Schools Art Educator and professional artist represented by several galleries in Nebraska, will show us her art, share how sketchbook journaling and digital portfolios relate to the Nebraska Visual Arts Standards, and facilitate curriculum writing using the standards. She makes it easy!
