| Description | | This workshop is for teachers and administrators who have participated in at least one year of the Academic Literacy Project. We are excited to offer this Visible Literacy workshop to extend the learning opportunities and we especially encourage our ALP alumni to attend.
In this professional learning day with Kristin, she will align the Academic Literacy Project with the Visible Learning research; its connections to surface, deep, and transfer learning as it relates to literacy; the best approaches to use in each stage of learning; and the tools for measuring your impact on student learning. “Every student deserves a great teacher, not by chance, but by design.” ~ Visible Learning
Kristin Anderson currently serves as the Senior Director of Global Consulting and Evaluation. She has studied Visible Learning under John Hattie for the past six years and delivers professional learning around the world, working with Fisher, Frey, Hattie, Knight, and Quaglia. |
