DescriptionDescription:
This session helps teachers develop ideas about selecting tasks, using evidence, and supporting productive struggle. Participants will first examine attributes of worthwhile tasks and learn about useful modifications for increasing quality. The session then examines how to leverage these tasks to uncover misconceptions and right answers that happen for the wrong reasons. Participants then apply their understanding to identify strategies for provoking and supporting productive struggle. Ready-to-use instructional resources will be shared.
