Description | | “For educators eligible to receive Title II-A Consortia funds, participation in this event may be used toward a total of 5 days of non-contract time training and/or a maximum of $500.00.”
Write Tools workshops provide teachers with strategies to teach their students how to write with rich language and well-developed thoughts. It enables teachers to differentiate instruction for all levels of learners.
Jen Letheby, a Write Tools consultant, will be providing training for Write Tools 101. The two-day workshop includes strategies for: responding to reading, building better sentences, planning before writing, expository paragraph writing, emphasis on the full writing process, correlations to reading, and connections to Six Traits Writing.
This may be a refresher workshop for teachers who have already had Write Tools 101.
