Description | | “For educators eligible to receive Title II-A Consortia funds, participation in this event may be used toward a total of 5 days of non-contract time training and/or a maximum of $500.00.”
Jen Lethaby, Write Tools Inc. trainer will provide training for Write Tools 101 (2 days) and three additional modules (3 days). The first two days are the groundwork for all other training modules for Write Tools. It includes strategies for:
responding to reading, building better sentences, planning before writing, expository paragraph writing, emphasis on the full writing process, correlations to reading, and connections to Six Traits Writing.
Check ODIE for July 31, August 1 & 2, 2013 dates. To be eligible for credit, you must register for all dates.

Comments | | College credits (3 hrs) are being offered through Hastings College. Paperwork will be done on the first day of this class. You must attend 5 days of classroom based instruction and 1 day of independent work to receive full credit for this course.

Registration fees are waived for Title II-A Consortium Member schools. Registration deadline is two weeks prior to workshop unless otherwise noted.
Cancellations not received two business days in advance and no-shows will be billed the registration fee.
