Description | | This course will actively engage participants in writing starategies and techniques designed to teach the art of Descriptive Writing. This important and unique genre of writing is included on the district and state writing assessments. There will be a focus on the full writing process, as well as the organization and essential elements of Descriptive Writing.
Each teacher should bring:
- A copy of their core reading anthology/literature book (if they have one); and
- A copy of the state standards and/or District guidelines for reading, if available.
