| Description | | Deaf Education and Audiology Services, We're "HEAR" to Help You and Your Students
Goals:
- Learn what audiology & deaf education services are offered to you and your students and understand how to appropriately access audiology & deaf education services.
- Gain an understanding of how different levels of deafness may impact the student's education. Gain knowledge of accommodations that are available for students who are deaf and hard of hearing.
- Have a basic knowledge of how to interpret audiology result/report information.
- Intro to deaf ed. & audiology services, who we are, what are the differences
- How to read and understand an audiogram and audiology results/report
- Best Practice: IFSP, & IEP procedures-communication concerns and education choices. What can you do after a child is identified with a hearing loss, what we can do to help?
