DescriptionGroups of 3-5 teachers of a common field work together throughout the year. For example, visual arts work together, music work together, drama works together, etc.

Tasks of the PLC ( Professional Learning Community) include:
1) Study curriculum documents
2) Clarify 1-2 outcomes for a course
3) Develop common assessments, and
4) Identify and implement strategies

You will have a minimum of six meetings, each lasting 2-3 hours, at locations of your convenience (school, restaurant, homes, ESU #10, etc). The first meeting (Monday, Aug. 25, 2008) is in Kearney for the organizing and the last meeting (Monday, May 11, 2009) is in Kearney for reflection and celebration.
