DescriptionThis is a four-session workshop being held on September 26, 2007; October 24, 2007; November 28, 2007; and January 9, 2008.
ESU 10 staff will lead educators through a process which provides an opportunity to review, update and align the curriculum’s student learning objectives. The purpose of the curriculum review is to check that one level leads to the next in a spiraling curriculum. This process also provides opportunities for revision, which in turn will improve student learning of content and skills. The district curriculum team should bring the current K-12 curriculum, textbooks as needed, and at least one representative from each level: primary, upper elementary, middle, and high school. Team productivity will benefit from having laptop computers available for each grade level. Each member of the team should register. Registering once will sign you up for all four sessions.
